Hanwha L&C Corp. (CEO Chang Bum Kim, www.hlcc.co.kr) is a South Korean company owned by Hanwha Group of South Korea. It was established in 1966 when it dedicated a PVC plant, the first of its kind in Korea. In 1999, it separated into Hanwha L&C Corporation and Hanwha Chemical Corporation. Hanwha L&C is the headquartered in Seoul and has domestic factories at Bukang, Jochiwon, Jinhae. In addition, it established foreign branches in the U.S. (Virginia, Alabama, Atlanta), Canada(Ontario), China(Shanghai, Beiging), Czech Republic, etc. It now produces and supplies construction material, auto parts to global company in local Hanwha L&C produces various construction materials including the engineering Stone ‘HanStone’, flooring, windows, faux marble and deco sheet, etc. Especially ‘HanStone’ was used as construction material at COEX, 63 Building, Incheon International Airport in Korea and as the flooring at Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Las Vegas Coast Hotel in the U.S. Also Hanwha L&C produced high-Strength and light-weight auto part(GMT, LWRT and EPP, etc.) and supplies to the world’s leading automakers. In 2007, Hanwha L&C bought AZDEL in U.S.A and developed the IXIS, plastic stronger than iron.
